Transport Temperature

Lab Only: Urine samples may be stored for up to 7 days at 20 to 25°C, at 2 to 8°C for up to 7 days, or frozen at <= -20°C for > 1 year. Stored specimens must be inspected for particulates. If present, mix and centrifuge the specimen to remove particulates prior to testing. Hospital: Container may be obtained from the Laboratory.
