24 hour urine preferred. Specimens should be acidified to pH <2.0 with 6N HCL.


Transport Temperature
Lab Only: Minimum 0.5 mL of a 24 hour sample required for testing. Specimens should be acidified to pH <2.0 with 6N HCL before analysis. 2 days 20-25C or 2-8C 4 days. Stored specimens must be inspected for particulates.
