Instructions

Blood tubes must be filled to the stated volume. Over- or under-filled tubes will be rejected. Deliver to lab immediately, do NOT expose tubes to ice or cold. Adult: 2.7 mL exactly in (Lt blue tube) *Pediatric: 1.8 mL exactly in pediatric coag tube*

Transport Temperature

Specimen stability: Centrifuge and test within 8 hrs of collection, if testing is delayed, separate plasma and freeze at -20 degrees C (stable 1 month).
