Instructions

Blood tubes must be filled to the stated volume. Over- or under-filled tubes will be rejected. Deliver to lab immediately, do NOT expose tubes to ice or cold. Adult: 2.7 mL exactly in (Lt blue tube) *Pediatric: 1.8 mL exactly in pediatric coag tube*

Transport Temperature

NOTE: When samples will not be analyzed within 8 hours of collection, spin sample, remove plasma and place in an aliquot tube, freeze the sample for future analysis. Specimen stability: 8 hours @ 15-25 degrees C, and/or 1 month @ -20 degrees C.
