Instructions

Nasopharyngeal swab collected using standard procedures and placed into Universal Viral Transport medium. Minimum volume of Midlands Microbiology is 3mL Universal Viral Transport media.

Transport Temperature

Transfer to the lab immediately. Specimens can be held at room temperature for up to 24 hours, but should be shipped and stored at 2-8°C outside of 24 hours.
