Adult: Minimum 2.5 mL blood *Pediatric minimum: 1 full microtainer*


Transport Temperature
This assay can only be used to test human serum specimens. Grossly hemolyzed or lipemic specimens as well as specimens containing particulate matter or exhibiting obvious microbial contamination are not recommended and should not be tested. SPECIMEN STORAGE AND STABILITY 1. Serum must be removed from the clot as soon as possible. 2. Serum on the clot may be maintained at 2-8 C during transit for no more than three days. 3. Serum separated from the clot can be maintained at room temperature (up to 30C) or at 2-8C during transit for no more than three days. 4. Serum separated from the clot can be stored at -20C or below and shipped on dry ice. If the specimens are shipped frozen, temperature level during transit should be no greater than -20C.
