Instructions
CSF, BAL and other body fluids in a sterile well-stoppered tube. Swab in Viral Transport Media where a lesion has been sampled (collect with 1 sterile flocked swab and place in UTM media, preferably 3 mL liquid size) Whole blood collected in 1 Lavender EDTA tube or 2 microtainers - CANNOT BE SHARED WITH ANY OTHER TESTS Targeting the infected site increases the likelihood of detection
