Adult: 4 mL EDTA (Lavender or Pink) tube. *Pediatric minimum: 1 full EDTA (Lavender) microtainer.* NOTE: Maternal sample preferred BUT a pediatric sample IS required. See baby type and screen.


Transport Temperature
Process may take 1-4 hours. Refrigerate sample if greater than 4 hours transport time. Typenex bracelet required for maternal sample, with handwritten sample label from bracelet applied to sample tube. Hand written baby bracelet number required on baby sample. No serum separator tubes; No gel tubes.
