Instructions
Inpatients: Fresh stool in a gray stool cup, sterile container or Cary Blair transport media (orange top container). Outpatients: Submit feces in Cary Blair transport media (orange top container). Note: Only one specimen will be accepted per day.


Transport Temperature
Fresh stool must submitted at room temperature within 2 hours of collection or placed in appropriate transport media Cary Blair transport media can be stored and transported at room temperature.
