Specimen Type: Container: Lavender-top (EDTA) OR plasma preparation tube (PPT(TM)) Storage: FREEZE Special Instructions: Testing referred to Monogram Biosciences L9#V3200 A separate frozen specimen is required for each test ordered. Samples forwarded to Monogram Biosciences for testing. Specimen Collection: Collect specimen in 2 lavender-top (EDTA) tubes or 2 PPT(TM) tubes. Do NOT use green-top (heparin) tubes. Centrifuge specimen within six hours of collection. Transfer plasma to 1 or more polypropylene screw-capped tube(s) (not ""pop top tube"" or ""snap cap"") and freeze. Ship specimen frozen. To avoid delays in turnaround time when requesting multiple tests on frozen samples, PLEASE SUBMIT SEPARATE FROZEN SPECIMENS FOR EACH TEST REQUESTED.
