Instructions
Deliver to lab immediately, do NOT expose tubes to ice or cold. Blood tubes must be filled to the stated volume. Over- or under-filled tubes will be rejected. Adult: 2.7 mL exactly in (Lt blue tube) *Pediatric: 1.8 mL exactly in pediatric coag tube*
Transport Temperature
Specimen Stability: 20 to 25°C, centrifuge and test within 4 hrs. Plasma: For transport and testing beyond 4 hrs, stable at -20 C for two weeks. @ -70 C stability is 6 months. Maintain frozen during shipment.
