Container: Gel-barrier tube is preferred. Red-top tube or green-top (heparin) tube is acceptable. Collection: Separate serum or plasma from cells within 45 minutes of collection. Patient should fast for 12 hours preceding collection of specimen Storage Instructions: Room temperature
