Specimen: Urine (24-hour) Volume: Two 50 mL urine aliquots, frozen Specimen Container: 24hr urine container Specimen Collection: Collect a single 24-hour urine collection without preservative. Record the 24-hour urine total volume on the test requisition. Using the containers in the Kidney Stone kit (order PS#54242), prepare two 50 mL aliquots from the well-mixed 24-hour collection. One aliquot should have HCL preservation and the other no preservative. Freeze both aliquots immediately. Write total volume on aliquot with other clinical information. To avoid delays in turnaround time when requesting multiple tests on frozen samples, PLEASE SUBMIT SEPARATE FROZEN SPECIMENS FOR EACH TEST REQUESTED. Graphic analysis of results is mailed to client. Transport Temperature: Frozen Turn-around-time (From date of pickup of specimen by Labcorp): 6-8 days
