It is recommended that specimens arrive within 24 hours of draw at performing lab Adult: 4 mL EDTA (Lavender or Pink) tube *Pediatric minimum: 1 mL in EDTA (Lavender) tube or 2 full EDTA (Lavender) microtainers*
Transport Temperature
Container/Tube: Lavender top (EDTA). Specimen Volume: 3 mL Collection Instructions: Send specimen in original tube. Do not aliquot. Additional Information: 1. Date of draw is required. 2. For serial monitoring, we recommend that specimen draws be performed at the same time of day. Forms: If not ordering electronically, submit a General Request Form (Supply T239) with the specimen.
