Freshly collected random urine is the only sample type recommended for amphetamine analysis. Collect urine specimens in clean plastic or glass containers. Testing of fresh urine specimens is suggested. Samples within a pH range of 3 to 11 are suitable for testing with this assay. Urine specimens may be stored at 2-8 °C for 5 working days.
