Minimum 1 mL random urine


Transport Temperature
Lab Only: It is recommended that random urine assays be performed within 2 hours of collection. Random urine samples greater than 2 hours old should be acidified with 1-2 mL of 6N HCL.When testing cannot be performed within 2 hours of collection the sample should be refrigerated. The sample is to be acidified to < 2 pH upon delivery to the lab.
