Test includes: Susceptibility testing for amikacin, amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, clarithromycin, imipenem, linezolid, minocycline, sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim (SxT), and tobramycin. MIC values will be reported with CLSI interpretive comments. Specimen: Nocardia species or other aerobic actinomycetes isolated from a primary clinical specimen, on a submitted conventional solid medium (ie, Lowenstein-Jensen [LJ] slant, Sabouraud dextrose [SAB] slant, or similar) Volume: Pure culture isolate on a conventional solid medium Container: Conventional medium, tightly sealed, in etiologic agent packaging Storage Instructions: Maintain media at room temperature
