Instructions

This test requires special collection tube. Contact Hematology @ GMH 4557185 or RHR (803)434-2222 for tubes and instructions. Minimize time tourniquet is applied. Gently invert x5 after collection. Do NOT shake or mix vigorously. These samples may NOT be sent through pneumatic tube; hand deliver immediately to lab.

Transport Temperature

Test must be completed within 4 hours of collection. Transport to performing laboratory ASAP after collection. Do not expose to ice; do not use pneumatic tube.
