Instructions
This procedure is performed using serum specimens only. Specimen size for this test is 0.2 mL serum. Adult: 3 mL blood *Pediatric minimum: 1 full microtainer*
Transport Temperature
Transport to the laboratory as soon as possible after collection. Specimens may be stored between 2-8 degrees Celsius for up to 3 days prior to testing. For longer storage, specimens should be frozen at -20 degrees Celsius. Repeated freezing and thawing of specimens should be avoided.
