Clinical Significance
Hyperglycosylated hCG (h-hCG), formerly known as ITA, as a single analyte can be used as a marker for detecting pregnancy in the early weeks of gestation. For use in first and second trimester screening, please see the First Trimester Maternal Serum Screen or the Penta Screen, respectively.
