Collect a 10 mL purple top tube (EDTA) filled to proper tube volume capacity. Gently invert tube 5 times immediately after collection.
Minimum Volume
10 mL whole blood at 2-8°C.
Transport Temperature
10 mL whole blood at 2-8°C.
Specimen Stability
Ambient: 3 days; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: Unacceptable
