Limitations
Specimens should be collected prior to the intrathecal administration of contrast media. Centrifuge and remove supernatant within 4 hours of collection. Refrigerate at 2-8°C if specimen will not be analyzed within 4 hours. Freeze at or below -18°C if testing will be delayed 48 hours.
