Room temperature. Submit specimen according to Biological Substance, Category B, shipping guidelines.


Instructions
Transport 1 mL CSF specimen in sterile container. (Min: 0.5 mL) Place each specimen in a separate, individually sealed bag.

Room temperature. Submit specimen according to Biological Substance, Category B, shipping guidelines.


Specimen Stability
Ambient: 24 hours; Refrigerated: Unacceptable; Frozen: Unacceptable


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Dry specimens. Leaking or non-sterile containers.
