One 4 mL plasma separator tube.
Minimum Volume
2 mL plasma, frozen. (Min: 0.5 mL) Submit specimen in an PMC Standard Transport Tube.
Transport Temperature
2 mL plasma, frozen. (Min: 0.5 mL) Submit specimen in an PMC Standard Transport Tube.
Specimen Stability
After separation from cells: Ambient: 8 hours; Refrigerated: 2 days; Frozen: 6 months
Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Specimens exposed to repeated freeze/thaw cycles or ordered for tumor markers. Tests ordered on males.

Limitations
