Instructions
Separate plasma from cells ASAP. Transfer 1 mL platelet-poor plasma to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube and freeze. (Min: 0.5 mL)


Transport Temperature
Frozen.


Specimen Stability
Ambient: 4 hours; Refrigerated: 4 hours; Frozen: 1 week


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Serum. Clotted or hemolyzed specimens. Specimens ambient or refrigerated greater than four hours.
