Limitations
Yield directly related to quality of specimen submitted and presence of organisms in quantities within the limits of detection of kit.


Clinical Significance
The presence of H. pylori antigen in the stool aids in the diagnosis of H. pylori infection. Results may also be used to monitor response during and post-therapy in patients.
