Instructions
Must be accompanied with a 6530 Request for blood products form and a signed, yellow 14 day hold form 6530/16. Patient must not have been transfused or pregnant within the last 3 months and must have no pre-identified clinically significant antibody/ies.

Clinical Significance
If patient criteria is met, enables patient to conveniently have their Blood Bank specimen collected within 14 days of surgery with compatible units allocated to them the day before surgery.
