Attention Medical Provider – Reference Range and Specimen Type Notes on Potassium: Plasma Potassium reference ranges may have a low bias where Potassium may be 0.1 to 0.6 mmol/Liter lower than the Serum value. Because of this difference, it may be prudent to use Plasma for Potassium and the panels.
