Instructions
Bring specimen to NMCP Specimen Processing within 30 minutes of collection. At Naval BMC & remote laboratories that refer to NMCP for testing, prepare 3 unstained peripheral blood smears (like differential) and 3 unstained slides with a thick drop in the center. Also submit a lavender tube with Potassium EDTA (K2 EDTA) for viral assay.
