"This profile is intended to aid the clinician in the management of a suspected overdose due to unknown drugs. Please indicate suspected substance, if possible. To obtain profile fee, serum and urine or gastric specimens from the same patient must be submitted together. Note: If serum and/or whole blood are the only specimens available, please order test 041780. If urine and/or gastric contents are the only specimens available, please order test 072033

"Red-top tube and gray-top (sodium fluoride) tube and urine container. Separate serum from cells within 45 minutes of collection. Send serum in a plastic transport tube. Submit full, unopened gray-top tube for analysis of volatiles.
