"Fixed-cell pellet from a cytogenetic analysis, slides with metaphases and/or interphase nuclei, or bone marrow touch prep slides. Blood, bone marrow, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), FNA, paraffin block are also acceptable with additional charge

Minimum Volume
"Fixed-cell pellet from a cytogenetic analysis, two slides, 5 mL blood (adult), 1 mL blood (pediatric), or 1 mL bone marrow

Instructions
"Maintain specimen at room temperature.
Transport to the testing lab at room temperature; use a cool pack or LabCorp transport kit. Do not allow sample to freeze. Sample must arrive in the laboratory within 72 hours of collection.
There will be an additional charge for processing paraffin block samples or for samples that require culture.
