Methodology
Mycobacterium tuberculosis antigen-stimulated interferon- gamma production with detection by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Test includes PHA (positive) and nil (negative) controls. This is also known as an interferon-gamma release assay (IGRA). QuantiFERON(R) and QFT(R) are trademarks of the QIAGEN Group.
