Instructions


Collection tube should be completely filled with blood and immediately placed on ice.  Centrifuge (cold) the sample as soon as possible and separate the plasma.  Keep samples at 2-4oC until analysis.

LIMA ONLY: EDTA (lavender-top)
CINCINNATI-EDTA collection tube filled completely and immediately place on ice. Centrifuge ASAP and separate the plasma. Keep samples on ice or refrigerated up to 3 hours. Samples may be frozen for up to 24 hours if testing delayed past 3 hours. Pearl top tube (PPT) may be used.

Stable for 3 hours at 2-4oC or for 24 hours when frozen <-20oC
