Instructions
Collect specimen after the patient has gone to sleep or first thing in the morning before a bowel movement or bath. Remove cap which has clear plastic paddle. One side is sticky-do not touch this side. Press sticky surface against perianal skin with moderate pressure. Place paddle back in original container, label and transport to the Laboratory. Wash hands as pinworm are easily spread.

Preparations with opaque scotch tape; specimens not collected using the paddle.
