Instructions
Test includes aerobic culture for Neisseria gonorrhea only. Final results in 72 hours. Inoculate GC media plate immediately after collection by rolling the swab on the agar surface in a large 'Z' shaped pattern. Place the plate in the bag, seal and break the CO2 ampule. Transport to the laboratory as soon as possible. Do not refrigerate. Rejection criteria: GC Media plate not received in a sealed transport bag containing a broken CO2 ampule; Refrigerated specimen.
