5 mL EDTA whole blood (1.0 minimum)


Instructions
Immediately put specimen in ice after collection.  If test is unable to be run within 30 minutes of being drawn, blood should be spun and plasma separated and frozen.  Collect blood from stasis-free vein of fasting patient.  Smoking should be avoided prior to sampling.
