Instructions
Patient must be instructed to bring specimen to lab within 1/2 hour of collection.
Specimen collection information sheet must come with specimen.
Prior to collection-
Patient must abstain from all ejaculation for 2-3 days before masturbation. Avoid all lubricants and other contamination, that may compromise the specimen.
Have the supplied collection container readily available to collect the complete specimen.
After collection-
Within 30 minutes from the completion of collection, the specimen must be taken to:

This is the only location that may accept the specimen.
Specimen will be rejected if it is greater than 30 minutes old. Analysis must begin as soon as possible after collection. If transportation takes longer than 30 minutes, please call (812)244.0100 to make arrangements for collection at the lab.
Specimen must be kept at 37o C (body temperature). It is recommended the specimen be kept next to the patients body to keep warm. Extreme temperature exposure may affect the results of analysis.
