Preferred Specimen
3 mL serum in Red top tube, or SST, serum separator tube.


Minimum Volume
1.0 mL


Other Acceptable Specimens
3 mL plasma from sodium heparin green-top tube, or EDTA lavender-top tube.


Instructions
Allow a minimum clotting time of 30 to 60 minutes with serum separation within 2 hours of collection.  Send serum in a plastic transport tube.  To avoid delays in turnaround time when requesting multiple tests on frozen samples, please submit separate frozen specimens for each test requested.

Reference Range
Results of 1.5 ug/mL or higher indicate detection of Vedolizumab
Results of 25 ng/mL or higher indicate detection of antivedolizumab antibodies.
