Instructions
Processing Instructions (Lab use only): Centrifuge to separate from cells as soon as possible. If testing will be delayed for more than 24 hours, remove serum from the clot, serum separator and refrigerate.If testing will be delayed for more than 7 days store the aliquot sample in the freezer at -20°C or colder. Minimum Testing Volume: 1.0mL Serum Transport Temperature: Refrigerated Stability: Ambient: N/A Refrigerated (ON GEL): 24 hoursRefrigerated (OFF GEL): < 8 daysFrozen (OFF GEL): > 7 days Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles of specimens; thaw and vortex gently or mix by gentle inversion. Centrifuge to remove red cells or particulate matter, if necessary.Causes for Rejection: Unlabeled, mislabeled, wrong tube type, QNS, gross hemolysis.
