If the patient is < 13 years old, order RPR (REFLEX TO TITER AND CONFIRMATION) [LAB5812].This test is useful for aiding in the diagnosis of recent or past Treponema pallidum infection. Also used for routine prenatal screening.If Syphilis IgG/IgM is reactive, this test will reflex to RPR.

Processing Instructions (Lab use only): Centrifuge and separate cells after clot formation and within 4 hours of collection.
