Message

For peak level, blood should be drawn 30 minutes after a 30 minutes IV infusion. Note: Provide the date and time of last Dose of Tobramycin given. Collect a full tube, following standard venipuncture techniques.

Specimens from patients receiving anticoagulant or thrombolytic therapy may take longer to complete their clotting processes. Fibrin clots may form in these sera and the clots could cause erroneous test results.
