Message
For peak level, blood should be drawn 30 minutes after a 30 minutes IV infusion. Note: Provide the date and time of last Dose of Tobramycin given. Collect a full tube, following standard venipuncture techniques.

Processing Instructions (Lab use only): Centrifuge and separate cells after clot formation and within 4 hours of collection. Specimens from patients receiving anticoagulant or thrombolytic therapy may take longer to complete their clotting processes. Fibrin clots may form in these sera and the clots could cause erroneous test results. Minimum Testing Volume: 0.1mL Serum Transport Temperature: Refrigerated Stability: Ambient: N/A Refrigerated : 7 daysFrozen: 14 days Causes for Rejection: Unlabeled, mislabeled, wrong tube type, hemolyzed, visually lipemic, QNS, exceeds specimen/stability requirements.
