Processing Instructions (Lab use only): If analysis will not be completed within the maximum storage recommendations, the separated serum/plasma should be frozen at or below -20°C.Centrifuge and separate cells after clot formation and within 4 hours of collection. Minimum Testing Volume: 0.25 mL Serum Transport Temperature: Refrigerated Stability: Ambient: 7 daysRefrigerated : 7 daysFrozen: 6 monthsRepeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided to minimize potential analyte degradation. Causes for Rejection: Unlabeled, mislabeled, wrong tube type, visually lipemic, QNS, exceeds specimen stability requirements.
