Minimum Testing Volume: 0.5 mL Serum Transport Temperature: Refrigerated Stability: Ambient: N/A Refrigerated (ON GEL): 24 hoursRefrigerated (OFF GEL): 7 daysFrozen: 6 months Causes for Rejection: Samples stored on gel >24 hours, unlabeled, mislabeled, wrong tube type, severely hemolyzed samples (hemolysis index >500), grossly lipemic samples (trig >3000mg/dl), grossly icteric (bilirubin >20mg/dl), QNS, exceeds specimen stability requirements.
