MessageCollect a 24 hour urine specimen. NOTE: If the urine collection exceeds 25 hours or is below 23 hours, collection cannot proceed. The patient must recollect their urine sample. Step 1: Empty the bladder at the start of collection, this urine is discarded. Step 2: Collect all urine after the initial void int he collection container .
