Preferred Specimen
Pure isolate collected in an anaerobic transport tube or a pure isolate on a plate in an anaerobic bag


Instructions
Swab or plate of pure culture in anaerobic transport system.

Note: Stability of isolates will be determined by the laboratory. Organism must be viable. Thioglycollate broth is not recommended.
