Instructions
Use the LARGE swab to clean excess mucus from the site.  Collect sample with the small swab and place in the collection tube.

Specimen Stability
Stable for 60 days at room temperature.
Negative & Positive test specimens are held for 5 days.


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Samples not labeled with complete first and last name of patient and date of birth. Samples not collected in GeneXpert Swab Specimen collection tube.
