Patient Preparation
- Bring doctor's order to any one of our off-site locations. The injection will be given the following day.
- On the day of the injection go to the FMH Hospital to receive the injection.
- Use the Main ENtrance and register with the Patient Access Department.
- FMH Labs will need to know:
- Date Injection to be given
- Greater than 20 weeks gestation
- Is this an outpatient for prophylactic RhoGam?

Specimen Stability
Room Temperature: Do not store at room temperature
Refrigerated: 3 days for EDTA
14 days for clotted specimens
Frozen: Can not freeze
Refrigerated: 3 days for EDTA

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Hemolyzed samples or samples contaminated with IV fluid are not acceptable.
