Both are required

1 ml EDTA whole blood (lavendar tue)
      AND
1 mL Serum, no gel (red top tube)


Specimen Stability
Room Temperature:  Do not store at room temperature.
Refrigerated: 7 days for EDTA; 14 days for serum
Frozen: Can not freeze


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Hemolyzed specimens are not acceptale.  The specimen must be recollected.
