Room Temp: 4 hours; Refrigerated: 24 hours.


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Frozen. Specimen stored in uncertain conditions. Request recollect if possible.


Clinical Significance
The presence of WBCs in stool is abnormal and is indicative of bacterial infection or inflammation of the digestive tract
