Message

The assay is not repeated. Positives and Negative are part of the drug screen and are not definitive. Positives will be sent out for confirmation automatically on any one < 18 years of age. The reflex confirmation will be generated automatically by Meditech and a notice generated. Others will be sent for confirmation upon the clinician’s request. The comment attached is “Please notify the lab immediately if you want confirmation of the positive drug screen.”
